Search and rescue
Toole County Search & Rescue was formed in 1966. The unit became part of the National and Montana State Search and Rescue in 1970. Ed Krutzfeld is the current Montana State Search and Rescue Commander.
Toole County Search & Rescue operates under the direction of the Toole County Sheriff’s office. Members of the Toole County Search and Rescue are trained for operations that may include:
